company. Tripled sales and increased profits 10 times. Responsible for 2,600
employees in Canada, 1200 in the US North East Region and 21 Commercial
locations - 70 Retail locations in Canada, 10 in the US. Implemented a fully
integrated computer system including new software, new hardware, new
point-of-sale systems and a new communication system, acquired eight companies
and integrated their operations.
• President, Innova Envelope (division of Abitibi Price). Bottom line
responsibility for a national envelope company, with sales of $100 million, 875
employees and 10 locations across Canada and the United States. Improved pre-tax
earnings 78% from 1986 to 1989. Started a new “Greenfield” plant in the US.
