Executive and Management Experience
• President and COO of G.N. Johnston Equipment Company Ltd . Johnston is the
largest material handling dealer in Canada with 13 branches from coast to coast.
• Vice President and General Manager of Raymond Industrial Equipment Ltd (RIE)
until transferred to Johnston. With my team transformed RIE, the only Canadian
manufacturer of electric forklift trucks and pallet trucks, from traditional
‘batch’ manufacturing to lot size of one, synchronized continuous flow. RIE was
first North American forklift manufacturer to be registered ISO 9001 and 14002.
• Vice President Manufacturing Tonka Toys Canada. Started with Tonka as an
Engineering Manager; promoted to Plant Manager and then Vice President.
Successful management career began with managing change at the shop floor level.
